I like 'Kavi'. A very good idea, with good execution as well. Your lead actor did a very credible job. I loved your post-production work as well. Excellent sound mixing.
Two questions. 1. what camera did you use? is it shot on HD? 2. why did you use so many low-angle shots? Thank you.
We used a SLR camera, which had a HD video recording facility (Canon 550D). Using SLR was an intentional experiment that we carried out. And it really came out very well.
Secondly, the reason behind using low angles are many... it's a single character story, eye-line or high angles are not applicable or rather not suitable. I personally believe that eye-line angle is the most boring angle of all. The best angle, for this case was low,just a little bit lower the eye-line. why ?
Mainly for two reasons.
1. Its makes my actors look little bigger. More important. 2. Most important, it makes the background more interesting.
